One pleasure wedged amongst many pains

I have been meaning to share this memorably haunting day in my life for a long time but never managed to do it!!
It is all about one luxurious day in my life!!
The day I felt like a Princess!!
Luxury sure isn't a common occurrence in any lady's life!! So it is almost unrealistic when we chance rendezvous such luxury in life!!
We have been busy with the arrangements for an Inter College Management Fest for over a month now! So after the first week of December I stayed overnight on our campus and it was an absolute pleasure working with my students driven by 100% commitment!!
My students were very excited about having me on campus with them!!
Probably the novelty of having a faculty staying along with them!! Not totally sure what was exciting to them!!
I am certain of one thing though, the affection with which they took care of me!!
Right from the excited calls to my mobile asking me how long it would take me to reach hostel, making arrangements for my sleeping - a very neat and cozy bed, a hot cup of coffee, a spread of the most delicious cookies,washroom cleaning before I went in for my morning ablutions, the eagerness to spend time with me to the persuasive offers to massage!!
I did decline the massage but everything else I took it quickly and gulped like how a traveler would on a hot summer afternoon- so quickly that it almost choked me!!
These are memorable moments of my life!! Moments which I will treasure to the end of my life!!
Thank you so much Girls!!
You sure did make me feel like a Princess!!

I was enjoying speeding in my Alto oblivious to everything else other than the exhilarating feeling of watching the road ahead and the beautiful site of the winding roads hugging sometimes paddy fields and sometimes Mango groves! The Earthen Pot

I went to a Flea Market a bit unwillingly but then when nephews call to spend time with you, you hardly have a choice. I was supposed to meet them a little early for a Sunday morning but I reached in time. I called one of my nephews only to realize he hadn’t even started from home. He suggested that I go in and look around. I hesitated to take up his suggestion but the greed for materialistic possessions took over good sense and there I was just picking up whatever took my fansy! I infact had no cash with me and so installed PAYTM and paid! Nothing seemed to be a hindrance or a challenge! One prized possession amidst all the junk was a beautiful earthen pot and it had a nice glazed finish to it! I was informed that I could place it on a gas stove too for cooking! I picked it up thinking I had got it at a throw away price!
